The photo on the left shows Johnny Reep holding up his excellent cornbread that he prepared and brought to enter in the contest.

The cornbread shown in the picture won first place in the nontraditional category.

He won a check for $50 to which he endorsed over to the Firehouse Hostel to help with the continuing effort in getting it ready to open very soon.
